Terms of Use
The plain terms for using this site and AI Mode. Honest, readable, and no substitute for your own legal advice.
The short version
By using this website you agree to these terms. They cover who we are, how you may use the site, who owns the content, and the limits on what AI Mode can do for you. This is general information about using the site, not legal advice for your situation. For your own contracts or compliance questions, get your own legal advice.
Who we are and the governing law
This site is operated by DataWise Data Science (Dan Malka), a boutique data-science consultancy based in Israel. These terms, and any dispute about them or about your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction. If you use the site from another country, you are responsible for complying with any local law that applies to you.
To reach us about these terms, write to hello@datawiseds.com.
Using the site
You are welcome to read the site, use AI Mode, and contact us. In return, please use the site lawfully and in good faith. You agree not to:
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s rights, while using the site;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems, or its data, or to probe, scan, or test its security without our written permission;
- disrupt or overload the site, or interfere with the bot-protection and other measures that keep it available;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content by automated means beyond ordinary browsing and standard search-engine indexing;
- misuse AI Mode, for example by trying to extract system prompts, submit other people’s personal data, or force outputs unrelated to what the service is for; or
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with any person or organization.
We may limit, suspend, or withdraw access to the site or to AI Mode if it is being misused, and we may change or remove content at any time.
Our content and intellectual property
The content on this site, including the text, page structure, design, graphics, logo, and the way our work and method are described, belongs to DataWise or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual-property law. The name DataWise and our logo are ours.
You may view the content, and quote short passages with attribution and a link back, for ordinary informational purposes. You may not copy, republish, or reuse substantial parts of the site, or present our content or method as your own, without our written permission. Any rights not expressly granted here are reserved.
AI Mode: what it is and is not
AI Mode is a convenience feature that answers questions using only the content published on this site. It is useful, and it is limited. Please read this before relying on it:
- Answers are generated by AI and can be imperfect. They may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, even when they read confidently. Treat them as a starting point, not a final word.
- Answers are general information, not professional advice. Nothing AI Mode tells you is professional, legal, financial, engineering, or data-science advice for your specific situation, and it is not a recommendation you should act on without checking.
- No consultant-client relationship is created. Using AI Mode, or contacting us through the site, does not by itself make you a client of DataWise or create any professional or advisory relationship. That relationship begins only under a signed engagement.
- Verify anything important with us directly. If an answer matters to a decision, confirm it with a person at DataWise before you rely on it. Write to hello@datawiseds.com.
How we handle the questions you type is covered in our Privacy page.
The site is provided “as is”
We work to keep the site accurate, available, and useful, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the site or AI Mode will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies, that any result you get will be fit for your purpose, or that the site will be free of every possible security issue. You use the site, and any information you take from it, at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataWise Data Science and Dan Malka will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or AI Mode, or from any reliance on their content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
This section does not affect our commitments to you under a separate signed engagement; those are governed by that agreement, not by this page.
Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party websites and sources, for example when AI Mode or an article cites an external reference. We link to them because they are useful, not because we control them. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of sites we do not operate, and a link is not an endorsement. When you follow a link, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, the date below changes with it, and the current version is always the one on this page. If you keep using the site after an update, that use is under the updated terms.
